WHAT FLOWER

Description

Narrative: WHAT FLOWER – Depicting tropical floral forms in it’s imagery, mounted upon woodwork reminiscent of starfish, the overall presentation of WHAT FLOWER is lush and intense.  This piece was purchased at auction and the proceeds were given to Charlestown Playhouse, a Parent Cooperative Preschool.  What you notice at once in this piece are hints of landscapes, seascapes, and animals like turtles and starfish. As you continue to visually explore the imagery within the canvases, the rhythms, patterns, colors and forms blend creating a moving scene that unfolds before you. The more time you spend looking, the more joy it brings.
